Discover Vietnamese handicrafts on an immersive, guided tour from Hanoi. Meet local artisans, explore a historical incense-making village, and learn the traditional process of creating conical hats. Gain a unique insight into the local culture through this discovery of detailed artisanal crafts.

Morning session: 07:30 AM – 12:30 PM (No lunch)
Afternoon session: 12:00 PM – 17:30 PM (No lunch)

Pickup: Get picked up by our guide from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter or the Opera House to begin the 1.5-hour journey to the craft villages.

Quang Phu Cau Village: Visit the village that has been producing incense for over 100 years. Walk to the center of the village to see how locals make incense at an artisanal, family scale. Learn how incense is made from scratch and discover more about the lives of manual workers. Meet a family specializing in dyeing incense sticks and admire the outdoor showroom with thousands of colorful incense bundles. Our guide will help you take the best photos here.

Chuong Village: Depart for Chuong Village, well-known for the craft of conical hat-making for over 300 years. Meet local artisans and observe the intricate hat-making process. You will have a chance to decorate your own hat and take it home as a souvenir.

Return: Board the bus to return to Hanoi City Center.

Drop-off: Get dropped off at your hotel or the famous Train Street. Tour ends.

CHILDEN’S POLICY
Ages 1 – 4: Free of charge (sharing services/seats with parents).
Note: A surcharge of $10 USD applies if a private seat is requested.
Ages 5 – 8: 75% of the adult rate.
Note: This applies to one child; the second child in the same group will be charged 100%.
Ages 9 and up: 100% of the adult rate.
