07h30: Get picked up by our guide from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter or the Opera House to begin the 1.5-hour journey to the craft villages.
09h30: Visit Quang Phu Cau Village, a place with over 100 years of incense-making tradition. Walk to the heart of the village to observe how locals craft incense at an artisanal, family scale. Learn the process from scratch and meet a family specializing in dyeing incense sticks. Admire the outdoor "showroom" with thousands of colorful incense bundles. Our guide will help you capture the best photos here.
10h15: Depart for Chuong Village, famous for its 300-year history of conical hat-making. Meet local artisans, observe the intricate making process, and try your hand at decorating your own hat to take home as a souvenir.
11h15: Return to Hanoi for lunch.
12h45: Enjoy lunch at our restaurant, where you will savor authentic Vietnamese cuisine with a set menu of 8 delicious dishes.
13h30 - 13h45: Continue to the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11th century.
15h00: Visit Hoa Lo Prison Museum, originally used by French colonists for political prisoners and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war. To the American POWs, it was famously known as the "Hanoi Hilton."
16h00 - 16h30: Tour concludes. Return to your hotel or get dropped off at the famous Train Street.
